- Getting started: setting goals, selecting & planning curriculum, keeping records, etc.
- Teaching reading (Different methods for different types of readers)
- Testing and assessment (Measuring the learning that is taking place)
- Homeschooling high schoolers (Yes, you CAN homeschool all the way through high school successfully!)

There are four in-class sessions with the reading, projects and activities completed at home.
The books should be read prior to the class sessions, if possible. They are available through the Vancouver Public Libraries, the Family Academy Bookstore at 800-877-4586, or at used book sites online. Additional reading, activities and projects are included in the classroom sessions of the course.
